Here we are!

Wow, seems like ages since we last visited. In today’s “instant everything” world, it has been ages. While it was summer, it was a busy one for us. The movement we’re building is an iterative and evolutionary process – we’re learning every single day how best to share the message.

Xpelli, as you’ll remember, started with a single drawing and a belief that everyone should pursue his or her dream. Since our launch just a few months ago, we’ve learned so much about what you like (and don’t like!) and have been shaping the business literally on a daily basis.

We’ve learned that our slogan “Dream. Believe. Do.” really resonates with our fans. So, we’re doing a number of things around this message. One is that we’ll be leading discussions about “Dream. Believe. Do.” – there’s a lot for us to share with one another about pursuing one’s dreams and, together, we can encourage one another to go for it. Another is increasing this mantra’s presence across our product line. Regardless of whether your passion is mountain biking, painting or playing the Sousaphone, this slogan works and will accompany our Pellis in our drawings.

Creating, redesigning, moving forwardWe’ve also learned that a more colorful palette would be welcomed. We started with black and white art – they got us launched quickly and we could test the water to see how well Xpelli appealed to folks. We’ve taken the feedback to heart and have been reworking our designs to warm them up through color. You can see the beginnings of what we’ve been up to here and there are more designs and ideas coming every week. 

Finally, it’s time to buy more pencils as we’ve been drawing a host of new Pellis. We have dozens of new designs that will expand the reach of our message to even more instruments, hobbies, sports, passions and – wait for these – even professions. Remember, if you submit an idea for a Pelli that we haven’t come up with and if we create one, we’ll send you a free t-shirt to thank you.
